Students and parents are invited to spend a free, high energy evening with Geauga Growth Partnership, guest speakers and Geauga County businesses, presented in collaboration with Geauga Business Advisory Council.

Students – Ignite your path toward finding a fulfilling and meaningful career. Graduating Seniors and high school Grads: Bring your resumes for an opportunity to meet with employers. Companies are hiring!

Parents – Discover multiple ways for funding your child’s education and guiding them toward their greatest potential.

Explore careers in the trades, medical, manufacturing, service & more.

6:00 p.m. – Meet, Greet & Eat (food provided by Auburn Career Center)
6:30 p.m. – Guest Presentations
7:15 p.m. – Geauga Jobs Market Breakout

The goal for the evening is to ignite career ideas, shed light on career pathways available through education and training, and to inspire students to pursue those chosen paths.

Mr. John Steigerwald, GGP Vice Chair, will emcee the event. Mr. Steigerwald is former president of Bechem Lubrication Technology, a global manufacturing company.

Ms. Megan Krippel, CRM Manager for Kent State University Geauga and Regional Academic Center, will speak on ‘How to Choose a Career.”

Ms. Anna Markwardt Schrock is an Outside Sales Kitchen and Bath Specialist for Mentor Lumber & Supply Company in Chardon. She will share the story of her career pathway that began in Berkshire High School and Kent State University.
